ALEXSTRASZA AND THE RED DRAGONFLIGHT
ALEXSTRASZA THE LIFE-BINDER

Gifted with compassion for all living creatures by the titan of life Eonar,
Alexstrasza is also known as the Dragonqueen. Alexstrasza's limitless kindness extends to all shapes and sizes and she is easily the most recognizable amongst the Aspects as a result. Extremely diplomatic, Alexstrasza and her flight of red dragons are Guardians of Life and peacekeepers of Azeroth's affairs. Even in the darkness of times, Alexstrasza is known to stand tall and strong as a beacon of hope.

RUBY SANCTUM

The Ruby Sanctum is the only dragon sanctum that does not reject outsiders outright, but that does not mean they are welcome. Any Dragonsworn that is not sworn to the Red Dragonflight will find that they are able to exist here without too much trouble. However, spending too much time in the Sanctum will cause the land around them to die, charring the ground black as if it had been burned. This will cause most Redsworn and Red Dragonkin to attempt to hasten your departure.
All around you, flowers blossom. Small signs of life are visible no matter where you look, be it a small insect or a blooming bud on a tree. Eggs are all around, hidden under the roots of trees and nestled in protective caverns. Dragonkin encourage interaction with the eggs, though any attempts to tamper with them will result in swift death. Children are everything to the Red Dragonflight and it is not uncommon to see red whelplings scattered around the sanctum looking to play. The sanctum is lush green with towering trees, each christened with a full head of red leaves. There is a stockpile of meats held in one of the burrows beneath a tree in the sanctum, where dragonsworn are welcome to take from...so long as they assist in filling it back up afterward. As well, there are a small amount of trees that bear golden apples that are just a bit too sweet and crisp to be real. They are high up and harder to get at, but a dragon will (usually) be happy to assist the eager mortal. One of the caverns off to the side holds a collection with all sorts of weapons and armor types, from bows to plate armor, serviced by Alexstrasza's children. For now everyone is permitted two weapons and one set of armor.
Alexstrasza is almost always visible around the sanctum proper, be it in her mortal guise or in full dragon splendor. Dragonkin here, while still not perfect in their interactions with the young races, are much more interested in being good hosts than most of the other flights. In fact, many Red Dragons will adopt human or elven forms in order to mingle with the Dragonsworn. Just be careful if you have anything to say about their queen... they are very protective of her and not nearly as benevolent about it.

RED DRAGONSWORN
Those who cherish life above all else will find the warmth of the Red Dragonflight inviting. Red Dragonsworn are individuals who cherish their relationships with the world around them and are rarely ever concerned with conflicts of self. Redsworn tend to be more moral in their justifications for their actions than other Dragonsworn and are not shy in trying to make the world see as they do. Redsworn are often martyrs in their own right, doing whatever it takes to make sure that their sense of good prevails. Though they are not prone to killing others to get what they want, it is not beneath them, though it is always one of the last steps taken. Redsworn seek to change the world around them through their deeds. Peacekeepers, diplomats and those tied strongest to family and friendship are characters destined to walk with Red Dragons.
Upon being sworn in, characters will be granted the following abilities:
Upon being sworn in, characters will be granted the following abilities:
Fury: As Protectors of Life, Redsworn will fight to their last breath. Fury will greatly increase the Dragonsworn's stamina and strength for a brief period, acting as a small and desperate berserk mode. Beware, Redsworn, for this could be your greatest asset or your worst enemy. Inexperienced Redsworn will not be able to control themselves when Fury takes control of them.
Inspiration: Redsworn are paragon-type characters that inspire people around them. As a result, Redsworn are able to umbue their life essence to heal wounds or strengthen allies. But be warned, abuse of this power will drain one's life-force and can easily lead to death if not monitored.
Dragonbreath: Fire is the language of life on Azeroth. It is used to heat, to protect, and to inspire new life. Redsworn will be able to call fire and manipulate it to their whims. Redsworn fire can also be used to cauterize small wounds to speed up the healing process, though larger wounds would require aid from Inspiration.
