1) Yes, coming in post death is all right since this game has a healthy amount of resurrection. Some of the characters already in game are from the same spot. If there's any post-death issues we need to hash out, feel free to specify your preferences on the application or expand on them here.
2) Yes, they're allowed.
3) If a Jedi kept their canon powers, the Force would translate into the Light which is the energy that surrounds many of the "healer" classes. This isn't to say that they would be a healer themselves, but the way they use the Force could translate to how they use the Light. They could classify under any class that makes use of their other skills so if they use the Force primarily in combat, they might be a paladin or if they're the kind of person who uses it to help calmly steel their resolve, maybe a monk?
We'd be willing to work on a player one on one to compare and contrast the Force vs the Light as it would be easier to discuss ability by ability more so than to assign a thinly veiled spectrum to the entirety of The Force.
