Player Plot Request
INFORMATION
I want to start a plot!
Great! The good news is that not all player plots need to be approved by moderators! A few things that might require moderator permission include:
- Pre-planned major sanctum destruction
- An event that will affect a large number (10 or greater) characters
- A plot including one of the forbidden races in the bestiary
- A plot using one of the Dragon Aspects or Dragon Mages
- A plot that uses outside villages (Sin'thalas/Ahn'Qiraj/etc) in any way
That's me! What do I do next?
If you wish to propose a larger plot, please fill out the form below! If you are reporting Sanctum damage or Dragon NPC death, then simply comment without using the form and we'll let the community know with the next mod report! We will also comment with any consequences for your character.

Desired Time Slot: Monday the 21st, for about a week (OOC).
Who: Primarily the Red flight, PCwise, with Silverglen Retreat being an affected village. Other PCs can get involved as well.
What: In order to improve the reputation of the Dragonsworn with the Retreat, and as something of a training mission for the Redsworn, Mar and Vas have arranged for the Redsworn to assault the invasion forces that occasionally appear near the Retreat. Because Mar is Mar, this has a questlike turn in which they plant banners on their defeated foes. PCs from other flights will be able to get involved as they wish because this won't be quiet and it will be public.
Any Complications?: None anticipated.
Anything else?: The ultimate goal is both training and making Silverglen Retreat more open to the Redsworn. They'd really, really like to get some mounts, man.
no subject
Your plot has been approved! Silverglen Retreat will be friendlier toward redsworn as a result. The status of other flights depends on if other dragonsworn chime in to help. (It's a long road to exalted but we are keeping track.)
As far as dates go, you are free to use this week, next week, or any time excluding April 4th-10th. If you plan on postponing it for a while, let us know that, too.

I anticipate having this up soon, so no delay.

Thank you very much!

Desired Time Slot: Anytime after the effects of Dragon's plot (above) go into effect.
Who: Definitely the Blue Dragonflight (sorry Yugo) and Black, hopefully the other three as well. Volunteer PCs from all flights would be requested. Also Silverglen NPCs.
What: Since I play a big jerk whose idea of ingratiating himself to the local Night Elf population means making everyone else look bad by comparison (and because he's got an unreasonable amount of hate for a twelve-year old boy) I was thinking about having Qilby use his budding Black Dragonsworn abilities to magically convince the dudes at Silverglen that the Blue Dragonflight (and specifically Yugo) have been causing trouble in their forests -- killing too many stags, setting trees on fire, doing whatever awful people do. And I guess he'd probably figure while he's at it, might as well mess with the other three flights that actually ARE in good standing as well.
I figured this wouldn't be as much fun if it wasn't personal, so if people are willing, I'd want to use some volunteers for specific characters to be framed! He doesn't even need to know the character personally, haha, it'd basically just be a random act of assholery.
I don't want to OOCly ruin any chances of opening up the village to all the flights, so naturally everyone's reputation could eventually be restored by completing some sort of task [figure out what this super special (group?) quest would be. Maybe a "dungeon" run or something similarly dangerous. Mods might have an idea for something that'd be fitting?] And of course we can talk about the victims finding out who made their lives difficult in the first place. :)
So all in all it means a temporary loss in standing with the NPC locals -- event completion means they regain their standing, maybe even bringing it to a place better than before, and possibly grants extra rewards depending on what they have to do to complete it. If the framed Dragonsworn decide that something's fishy about all of the flights except the Black getting in trouble and decide to work together to set things straight, then there's possible cross-flight CR! And I get negative CR! Everyone wins!
Any Complications?: Nothing in particular. If the framed PCs don't actually get around to redeeming themselves, then I guess Silverglen is closed off even longer. But I don't anticipate that happening, haha.
Anything else?: Would the NPCs recall a Black Dragonsworn doing the whole glib-tongue thing on them, or would it be sort of like a magic suggestion thing complete with memory blackout? Like they are convinced something is truth, but they don't necessarily know that it was a person that convinced them? IF POSSIBLE I would love to arrange things in a way where the affected PCs are able to figure out that it was a specific person that told the lies, but they aren't able to simply point him out to the elves and be like "that guy's a Black Dragonsworn and everyone knows they're big fat liars, so snap out of it" or something.
no subject
This plot will earn you friendly reputation with Deathwing. Making people hate the other flights and scurrying to assist his flight will greatly please him.
Glib tongue cannot be detected by NPCs without repeated usage, so any attempts to point the finger at a Black Dragonsworn (rather than just Qilby himself) will be dismissed.
We ask that you set up an OOC post to call out for some volunteers to be framed at your discretion, which will then determine the reputation status of the other flights. As of right now, the Black Dragonflight will rise to friendly and the Blue Dragonflight will fall to hated and attack on sight.
EDIT: Also a timeframe you'd like to put this thing in motion, excluding May 4th - 10th if you don't mind.
no subject
I'm gonna say it'll start May 16th, with initial IC effects lasting until the
21st (when presumably everyone affected will be able to convince the elves that they're not awful people.)actually let's make it the 23rd and round it off at a full week, if that's cool! And that sounds good! I'll put up an initial OOC post soonish calling for volunteers, and then a second one a few weeks from now right after the mod event ends to further detail mine (based on who/how many volunteers I get.)

Desired Time Slot: July 12th - 20th
Who: Rose Hathaway and the rest of the Greensworn
What:
With the recent events at both Sin'thalas and Silverglen Retreat, the Greensworn need to establish themselves as a presence of good within one of the night elf settlements. Derenaar looks to be a good location to do so, approximately equal distance from the other two cities, and far enough away from the Burning Legion's center of power that the elves there may not be as biased against the dragons as other elves are.
What little scouting the Greensworn has done leads them to believe that the city could use some martial support and, with as much greenery as the city has, that the Greensworn's ability to manipulate the plantlife could be an asset in dealing with the elves. Rose has been learning Darnassian from Morpheus, and she will lead her flightmates with provisions into Derenaar and try to establish good relations with the elves.
Before approaching the city, they will have scoured the surrounding area and clear it out of any demons. They will take the heads of the demons along in a watertight sack to present as proof that the dragonsworn are there to help protect the city against any attacks, be they demon or troll.
Any Complications?:
As Derenaar's view on the dragonsworn is unknown, should they be hostile toward the dragonsworn, there would indeed be some potential lasting damage to the city. As this is a bunch of Greensworn coming into an elven city with such lush vegetation, the potential for there to be large alteration to the flora is possible. Also, should the Gurubashi Trolls continue to push toward Derenaar, believing them to have little in way of defense, the Greensworn will come into conflict with the jungle trolls.
Anything else?:
1. Rose's Darnassian is at a basic, beginner level, and she may be referring to a piece of parchment with some key phrases she went over before hand with Morpheus to make sure she had correct.
2. Once the Greensworn are established, Rose will work to integrate one additional flight each successive month (starting with the Red Flight in August) with the final goal that all flights eventually be on good terms with Derenaar by Pilgrim's Bounty in November. Should this plot be successful, I will submit a new player plot for each flight by the end of the month before their turn once a PC of that flight has been ICly contacted to help facilitate things on their end.
no subject
Dragonsworn who are incapable of speaking conversational Darnassian will find that the residents of this settlement will quickly grow frustrated. Conversations will dissolve into poor attempts at charades without a translator. The elves of Derenaar are artisans and entertainers -- the city is always bustling with music and entertainment of various kinds. The elves here will trust the Green Dragonflight to be their enforcers -- they will find that elves will come to them and ask that other Dragonsworn be removed if they do not assist in daily chores (such as gathering food, playing guard at the perimeters, tending to livestock, etc). If the Greensworn choose not to hold up this arrangement, Derenaar will reach out to their Sin'thalas cousins to remove all Dragonsworn presence.
July 12th - 20th is acceptable.
Happy negotiating!!

Desired Time Slot: Takes place on the 27th of July, with the OOC voting running until the 2nd of August
Who: The Red Dragonsworn
What: The Redsworn choose a leader.
Vas, with help from Krasus, will organize a town hall-style meeting. She will introduce the problem that they face as a Flight, that they have absolutely no organization whatsoever, and propose that they collectively come up with some sort of hierarchy. Redsworn will be encouraged to debate the merits and problems of proposed structures, with Krasus acting as a mediator/moderator.
Those who participate in the process will be asked to stand for the duration of the debate(s), and will not be allowed to sit, eat, drink, or sleep until a decision is made. They will also be encouraged to compromise, and not being allowed to rest is meant to further encourage that. (Yes, I am aware that Zelos has an advantage here.)
There will be no set posting order, and Krasus may interrupt arguments at will. If he decides that the decision process is straying too far from its core, or if two (or more) characters are being excessively hostile, or if the discussions are not being productive, or for any reason he wants, he can stop discussions, redirect the conversation, and administer whatever penalties he deems appropriate.
Any Complications?: Whoever is chosen as leader would be chosen ICly. Since this would leave players on hiatus unable to vote or otherwise voice their (IC) opinions, a separate post will be made on the OOC comm to tally all votes, including absentee ones. On the 2nd of August at 11:59:59 PM, voting will close and the leader will be announced afterward.
Anything else?: Depending on player availability, the dates may need to be pushed around a bit. Will advise as necessary.

Desired Time Slot: Sometime in the nearish future? But I'm not picky.
Who: The Master and Lady, definitely. I haven't checked to see if anyone else wanted to be murdered since it seemed like a good plan to post here before pinging the OOC comm ahaha. But I doubt I'd get many more bites? Maybe like. One.
What: SOOOO with the Doctor being dropped, the Master with his Time Lord senses will know that he's gone/potentially dead in Azeroth's universe. He's not going to take it well. At all. He's going to go on a demon killing spree (which is good!) and kill anyone else that gets near him, 'sworn included. There would be a lot of fire, but not enough that would be noteworthy. Only confirmed 'sworn death right now is Lady of the Greenflight.
Any Complications?: Why I'm posting all this here: If it's found out that the Master's murdered Lady? After the whole Qilby thing? Ummmm blackflight would probably be screwed with their green "relations." Also if Riven finds out that the Master did it, that'll cause issues within black. ...there's a lot of ways this could domino effect into Bad Things. Lots of attempts to cover it up.
Anything else?: Lady will get dropped afterwards, so to make matters worse, she wouldn't come back for a long while (if she gets reapped further down the road). Here's hoping I'm not missing anything...
apologies for the delay!
Everything here looks fine, but having taken a vested interest in her new charge, Alexstrasza will wish to sit in over Krasus. As this is mostly a Dragonsworn manner, Krasus and Alexstrasza will only interject to offer the dragon and current world perspective on the situation.
If you would like to submit a new timeframe due to the delay in response time here, feel free.
no subject
I think it would be best to delay it for a couple of days, and start on the 30th with OOC things running until the August 6th. That should give the people on hiatus a chance to settle in (at least a little).

Reputation with Deathwing will increase depending on the portion of outer-flight members killed. Reputation with Deathwing will decrease depending on inner-flight deaths and Sanctum damage, and high levels of either will cause retaliation. Reputation of surrounding elven villages will cause the Black Dragonflight to become favored so long as no elves are harmed in the slaughter process.
We ask that you reply to this response with a more accurate tally of deaths once you have them, as well as some focused destruction sights in regards to demon slaughter.

Desired Time Slot: Aug 15-18. OOC plotting going up on Aug 8.
Who: The elves at Derenaar, the Gurubashi trolls, and any Dragonsworn stepping up to help.
What: Troublemaking Shithead is Qilby's middle name and he's got an idea to throw a wrench in the plans of what he considers Greensworn who're growing too big for their britches. Because a lot of his eventual goals require that the other flights have less power/respect than his own, he's just gonna go ahead and instigate a war between the Gurubashi trolls and the neighboring settlement of Derenaar and their Greensworn protectors. This will prompt a big skirmish/fight log that could potentially involve all the flights -- anyone who chooses to participate.
The log will be totally open for the most part, but I plan on including a few small scenarios for people/groups of people looking for a specific task to do (e.g. evacuate the civilians, save the storehouses from burning down, fetch medicine from a neighboring town, etc.) I'll have the outcomes of these tasks determined by a simple pass/fail roll, modified appropriately by any abilities/weaknesses the participating characters have. Whether or not these tasks are successfully completed will determine how the town (and subsequently the Dragonsworn reputation with the elves) ends up after the battle.
That being said, this will affect the reputations of all participating flights with Derenaar. As all of the flights are already slowly being integrated into the town (because of Rose's plot) this will simply either put the flight on the fast track to Honored or just impede the process.
Any Complications?: With the Master's murder thing happening roughly around the same time, and Rose (as defacto Greensworn leader) already kind of assuming (rightly) that anything shitty happening is because of the Blacksworn, a sudden war breaking out at Derenaar just as the Greensworn are trying to establish a position there is probably not going to do anything for Black-Green relations.
All-out interflight war? Dunno, it could happen.
Anything else?: I've already spoken with Rose's player about how this might affect her ongoing Greensworn campaign to ally themselves with the elves, and everything's good to go! o7

So! Lady is the only player character death, and since she is, he'll be killing a lot of demons before he kills her. I figure he'll prob be north-west of Silverglen doing this. Familiar territory, and he'll kill Lady and subsequently stop his rampage before he gets too near to Burning Legion territory.
Oh yeah and he's not messing with the Obsidian Sanctum.

BENEFITS INCLUDE:
- Open lines of communication toward the BLACK DRAGONFLIGHT
- Safe transport through GURUBASHI TERRITORY (*Qilby and those accompanying him only)
- Potential new areas for congregation once positive relations are established
- Access points to Ahn'Qiraj (*does not include safe passage)
COMPLICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Personal reputation decrease with ALL Night Elf territories (*this will be more severe if an elf's head is chosen for tribute)
- Possible flight reputation decrease in the event of use of Troll forces (*this will be more severe if an elf's head is chosen for tribute)
- Depending on how the dragon's blood is obtained, Qilby could face consequences as far as death
If needed, discuss these terms with your plotmates and return with your answer. Reputation with Deathwing will increase for anyone involved from the Black Dragonflight, so long as Black Dragon's blood is not shed.

I'll need time to plot, yeah, and see how things'll shake out with other interested people. The original date of August 15-18 isn't gonna work now, so lemme push it back a couple of weeks to the 29-30!
Lemme get this all figured out, and I'll get back to you guys by this weekend! 8)

But anyway, it'll definitely be happening! Apollo (
As for the head -- haven't heard back from my potential group mates on this one. Tentative plan was to rope some chumps into helping him take down a satyr (while giving the impression that this was something the elves requested help with) and take the head for himself. Not sure how I'll approach this now! If taking out a satyr solo just isn't feasible, he'll chop an elf's head off, whatever. Won't be needing dumb elf friends once he's got troll friends, anyway!!
The way things stand right now, it probably makes more sense to do a separate plot submission for all the warmongering stuff. The rep grind is substantial enough. ;) Following all these blood and severed head shenanigans, will he be meeting with troll NPCs for the BLOOD RITUALS or is that gonna be assumed to have happened?
no subject
Taking down a Satyr will acquire some assistance. Taking down an elf will be much easier, but reap reputation consequences unless Qilby is clever enough to cover his tracks somehow (which I believe he is).
You will reap the above rewards upon completion of your deeds. If you would like troll NPCs and a log for blood rituals, we can make that happen. If you would prefer to handwave, that is also fine.

Desired Time Slot: August 18th and ongoing.
Who: Whomever chooses to take up the mantle of exploration. And Seviilia, I guess.
What: After sitting dormant for a few months with the Legion raining fire down on most of the continent, it would make sense for the Nerubians to begin to mobilize, which would effect Seviilia's small hideaway toward the north of Suramar, as well as anyone who decides to check up on her. Demonic presence would increase, and the Nerubians would begin to venture out of their own territory and actively become hostile to Dragonsworn, Elves, and Demons alike.
This wouldn't effect anyone immediately unless they were in the northern part of Kalimdor, but anyone traveling there could easily take note of spider kingdom mobilization.
Any Complications?: Nothing immediate, but there could be potential for PC encounters in the wild.
Anything else?: I'm the head mod why am I even doing this--oh right, reference material.

Alrighty, if I don't hear back from people about saytr stuff, I'll proceed with the elf plan. I could just have him stab a guy in broad daylight buuut I GUESS he could be clever too... 8) Maybe one of those upstarts at Derenaar ('cause how dare they be friends with other flights!!)
And awesome -- no, I'd like to do a log! Just wasn't sure if it'd be too much trouble for you guys, haha. Everything sounds good.
FINALLY GETTING THIS UP
Desired Time Slot: August 25-September 1, or September 1-8
Who: The Red Flight, primarily. Potential support from Green, and they won't turn away anyone who shows up.
What: Having seen refugees fleeing Suramar, Mar has proposed the Red Flight go and delay any demons from attacking what remains of the refugees, and try and aid said refugees. They're a bit late to the game, but hunting Suramar for survivors and engaging local demons in battle are still on the list. Plus finding the refugees and getting them to safety can potentially still happen. Also potentially dragons, which are still in retreat.
Any Complications?: Suramar is already wrecked... it might be nice if they had to get into a significant but manageable fight that helps bring them together. Also, Mar is going to know pretty much exactly what happened there when he sees that whole "line of fire scouring the battlefield" thing; Deathwing may at some point take note of the fact that someone out there is pretty much 100% aware of his present and future shenanigans.
Anything else?: We'll cheerfully take any curveballs you throw at us from this!
no subject
Lo and behold, champions! Your presence near Suramar's magical barriers have stirred the ire of the beast overseeing the Legion troops in the area. Previously alerted to Dragonsworn presence by Maridian's journey near Suramar's borders, he has prepared for your eventual arrival and has stationed a Felhound pack to guard the easy access entrance. Said pack will pick up on any Dragonsworn within a 3 mile radius due to the magic residing within them, guaranteeing an attack on arrival. Stealth will NOT work -- these five beasts will need to be taken down with brute strength. Magic users (and elves in particular) beware. This pack is obviously meant to cripple anyone foolish enough to approach the area, and will take much of the Dragonsworn's strength.
Should the Dragonsworn pursuit their target, they will find (in addition to several waves of imps, commanded by a Satyr that will need to be dealt with first) that inner Suramar is unreachable without the assistance of another dragon. The burning and charred ground is unstable, and gives away to pits of fel fire at inopportune times. It would be impracitle to do anything but fly over the chasm that separates the group from the main courtyard of Suramar. However, they will also find an injured Red Dragon, still alive but barely breathing. A choice will need to be made -- put the beast down peacefully, or attempt to transport it back to the Red Dragonshrine. The choice is your's champions.
We advise that this plot be held on the later end of September's first week, due to Qilby's attempts to be the resident Troll Whisperer. It will make NPC replies (w/ the red dragon in particular) much quicker.
